13th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas to be held in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat

This is in continuation of Mission’s earlier Press release dated 12th November, 2014, on the subject mentioned above.

2. As a major step towards creating an effective and meaningful relationship with the immigrants/NRIs/PIOs of Uttar Pradesh in Sri Lanka, Government of Uttar Pradesh will be participating as a partner state in 13th edition of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention on 07-09 January, 2015 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. 

3. During this flagship event, the state (UP) will be organizing an exclusive session focused on the Diaspora. The session will be chaired by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Akhilesh Yadav.

4. An invitation intended for the NRIs/PIOs in Sri Lanka by the Government of Uttar Pradesh inviting for investment proposal in Uttar Pradesh, is also attached herewith.
