INVITATION FOR BIDS

Invites bids from qualified Sri Lankan and Indian bidders who have the following qualification to undertake the Construction of Jaffna Cultural Centre” with the floor area of approximately 10,000 sqm at an estimated cost of LKR 1200 million (Excluding VAT).

1. Average annual turnover of US$ 7.40 million or LKR 960 million or INR 48 crore during last 5 financial years in building construction as a prime contractor

2. Successfully completed (i) One similar work of minimum US$ 7.40 million or INR 48 crore or LKR 960 million or (ii) Two similar works of minimum US$ 5.50 million or INR 36 crore or LKR 720 million each or (iii) Three similar works of minimum US$ 3.70 million or INR 24 crore or LKR 480 million each in last five years.

In addition to above, Sri Lankan bidders should have ICTAD C1 (Building)

Bid documents can be collected from the High Commission of India 36-38, Galle Road, Colombo-03 for a fee of LKR. 20,000/- per document on any working day between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm from 8 September to 6 October 2015. Method of payment will be cash or by Demand Draft in favour of the High Commission of India. Documents can also be seen on the Mission’s website www.hcicolombo.org before purchasing them.

The last date for submission of sealed Bids with all prescribed documents is 3.00 pm on 19 October 2015.
